Types of fabrics; fabrics are divided into: knitted fabrics, woven fabrics, non-woven fabrics (such as non-woven fabrics) according to different weaving methods. 1. Knitted fabrics

Definition: A fabric formed by one or a group of yarns forming coils in a certain pattern on a knitting machine and stringing the coils together. Features: Knitted fabrics have soft texture, moisture absorption and breathability, excellent elasticity and extensibility, and manufacturability. Knitted clothing is comfortable to wear, fits the body, has no sense of tightness, and can fully reflect the curves of the human body.

Common knitted fabrics

1. Knitted plain fabric: Most of the round-neck T-shirts worn in summer are made of it. Cotton is common, and close-fitting clothes are naturally comfortable with cotton.

2. Sweater fabrics: divided into fleece and non-fleece, mainly because the base of the fabric is different, and there is no difference on the surface of the fabric. The fleece type is warmer and is generally used in winter.

3. Chicken cloth: (also called Roman cloth), with a smooth appearance, general elasticity, and relatively stiff, it can generally be used to make skirts and coats.

2. Mercerized cotton: It has a bright luster like silk, high-grade color fastness and good hand feel. It has the breathability, softness and moisture absorption of cotton, and the characteristics of silk.

Definition: Two sets of warp and weft yarns are interwoven to make two linings, generally plain twill, satin, bamboo knots, etc.

Features: washable, wrinkle-resistant, good breathability

3. Non-woven (non-woven) Definition: Also known as non-woven fabrics, it is composed of directional or random fibers. It is a new generation of environmentally friendly materials. It is called cloth because it has the appearance and certain properties of cloth.

Features: moisture-proof, breathable, flexible, light, non-combustible, easy to decompose, non-toxic and non-irritating, rich in colors, low price, recyclable, etc.
